Icom IC-7300 External Keyboard – PCB

PCB desing for an ICOM IC-7300 external keyboard.

In March 2019 I already made an external keyboard for the IC-7300 in an aluminum enclosure. You can read that story here: Icom IC-7300 External Keyboard.

This time I wanted to build a keyboard that could be put together with as few tools as possible, and with easy to find parts. It is also the intention to put the PCB on feet and not to install it in a housing. This way everyone can appreciate the beauty of the PCB at any time. 😉

I developed the PCB with the free version of Eagle and use the services of JLCPCB to manufacture the PCBs. The first impressions in the gerber viewer already look promising. I cannot wait to see them in the physical form.
